Quality producers show that they want to do well with whatever they’re doing. Anyone can just “get the job done” but it takes a hardworking person to turn it into something extraordinary. This GLO can be the difference between getting your dream job, or not.
Segregation Documentary: This documentary displays quality work as it highlights the racism that followed the Civil War. While making this, we interviewed Mr. Jose, the honors US History teacher at Moanalua High School, and made an audio and visual script that included all of our research and pictures. In addition, our video was turned in on time.
Racism into Laws from Korie Lum on Vimeo.
Outside Reading Cards: These are the media versions of book reports. Every quarter (except 4th) we are required to create a photoshop graphic of a book we've read outside of class. The graphic must include pictures that pertain to the story, as well as the conflict, resolution, and important quote from the book. I try to create my OR cards well, not just taking pictures from the book art, or movies. In this, I try to be creative to practice my graphic design and photoshop skills. (click to enlarge)
